Virginia Tech - TISE Program

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, so kindly pardon me if something of this nature has already been posted here.

 

Any how, I'm in the process of applying for an MS in Virginia Tech's Transportation Infrastructure and Systems Engineering (TISE) program for the Spring 2014 session. I'll be opting for the Systems Engineering cluster. Being an international student, I will obviously be hoping to get financial aid. I'd like to put forth the following queries to anyone who is/has been a part of this program. Any kind of input will be welcomed:

 

Can anyone give me some solid info regarding this program? How good is the faculty?

 

What are the chances of getting financial aid in the coming Spring session?

 

Life at Blacksburg? Living expenses, outdoor activities, sports etc?
