iopsycho Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Haven't been able to find any information on how schools calculate GPAs. More specifically, how they calculate cumulative GPAs when an applicant has a graduate degree. For example, my undergrad GPA is very poor (2.775, Bio major, Psych minor from Big State U), but I made up for it with during grad school (4.00, Psych from Local Small U). I know for most, if not all, universities my undergrad GPA would immediately eliminate me from moving past the initial cuts. Would they look strictly at my Psych GPA? How about my upper-level undergrad years (which would effectively eliminate most of my poor freshmen and sophomore year grades)? Thanks in advance for any help!
