kenningsa Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) I just took the test today, and received a 160 V & a 153 Q. Furthermore, I have a 3.92 GPA from Penn State, University Park and excellent letters of recommendation. Are the scores I received sufficient? Or will they seriously affect my chances? Blcampbell42 Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I'm still trying to get into grad school myself. Still, I believe your scores should be alright. It seems to vary from university to university, but a verbal quant cumulative of 300 is usually the minimum for acceptance. Some schools focus much more on your undergrad grades, experience, etc as well, so I wouldn't worry. kenningsa 1
TMP Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Don't worry about the numbers. Spend more of your time worrying about your statement of purpose and writing sample. kenningsa and GuitarSlayer 2
