Columbia MA Statistics- Big Data

Does anyone know how difficult it is to get into Columbia's MA in statistics program? According to the NYTIMES their big data emphasis is a relatively new one. Would like to know how admit-tees felt about the application process.

Compare to the reputation of Columbia, the MAin stat is relatively easy. But, the tuition and the cost will be high. It's herd that the employment of graduates of this program was not very pleasent
