architecture 604 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Hey guys! Does anyone have any advice regarding the attitudes towards MA students at these schools? Are the MA students seen as cash cows or are they know for treating their MA's well? The list of schools is: University of Delaware, Penn State, Boston University, University of Minnesota Any advice is appreciated!
Herbie Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Programs that fund their MA students aren't cash cow schools. University of Del treats the financial situation of MA students well. Also look into Tufts University. I attended Boston University for my MA, so if you'd like to chat with me, just let me know. The others I don't know about! If they have a directory, you could e-mail someone at the program. Yep.
kunstgeschichtedude Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I second University of Delaware. Although I am not attending Penn State, I was accepted into its MA program with a stipend offer and tuition waiver! I visited Penn State and the faculty were lovely! The treated me very well during my visit.
