arthritiskid Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Hey everyone! I just graduated with my bachelors in psychology through a small private school in Northeast Ohio. I'm currently taking classes for a 2nd bachelors in Communication science and disorders through Utah State online. I'm thinking about potentially doing my gradschool in the Northwest, but I'm not sure where. I'm a little worried because I don't have the perfect scores to get in, but I'm gonna go for it anyways. I'm taking the GRE this fall before I apply. My GPA through Malone was a 3.02. I'm hoping that I can get a 4.0 for these classes and have a different attitude than I did in my 1st bachelors so I will work hard. I have a ton of counseling and volunteer experience and great references. Any ideas of places where I should try and/or can get in? Thanks
SLPamy Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I would suggest that you use ASHA's EdFind website (http://www.asha.org/edfind/search.aspx) to search for graduate programs in the states you want, and also look at the admissions data they have (GPA, GRE score, etc.) to see how you compare.
