Masters in Eocnomics. How to get in.

Recommended Posts

Many questions. Hope you can answer one or more:

(a) What is it that masters programs addmission comitees are looking for in applicants? What are the most important variables they consider?

(B) Is research experience important?

© Can letters of recommendation be from economists as well as non-economists (but justified why him/her)?

(d) How hard is it to get to a competitive MA program like LSE, UoT, BGSE, UCL? Are minimun requirements a good guide, or are they are looking for something additional too (as with PhD's)?

Do American citizens have better chances of getting admitted than non Americans (other things equal)?
