Hello, I am applying for admission next fall. I am really interested in I/O PHD programs that have their own consulting firms so that I can gain some applied experience. I am making a list of the programs that I already know of down below. If you know of anymore please let me know!

So far I know of:

Louisiana Tech

Southern Illinois Carbondale

Wayne State

Thanks!

Many PhD programs in I/O offer their students opportunities for internships during the course of their graduate studies.  If it's applied experience you want, I am sure you will find plenty of programs that encourage or outright facilitate that, even if they don't have their own consulting firms.

Penn State does.  I mean, it's not technically a "firm" per say, but you do three years of consulting work during your first three years.
