I am really interested in I/O PHD programs that have their own consulting firms so that I can gain some applied experience. I am making a list of the programs that I already know of down below. BeingThere Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 Many PhD programs in I/O offer their students opportunities for internships during the course of their graduate studies. If it's applied experience you want, I am sure you will find plenty of programs that encourage or outright facilitate that, even if they don't have their own consulting firms.
