Ohio State Univ ECE: funding

Anyone received any funding information (PhD)? I found only 1 result on the board: "I have been awarded a university fellowship for the first year and funding through possible RA or TA positions for the next 1.5 year. That sounds great........." (21st March)

It seems really crazy, they accepted (me at least) as early as 15th January, and I am yet to receive any funding decision. What seems equally crazy, I am sitting on 4 offers, only 1 (so far) funded.

I've applied for the M.S. and still waiting. It is getting quite frustrating as I need to make up my mind soon and send my offer decision letters. I don't understand why they are taking so long. Other universities I've applied to probably had more applicants and they both got back to me a long time ago. I also want to know about funding as accepting the Ohio State ECE offer depends on whether I get funded or not as I already have a non-funded offer from a much better university.

I have read your posts on the decision board. I really do not know what happens at this year. I already have several acceptances from other well known universities, but there is no any financial aids. I , also, stated that I could not attend the program without financial aid, so there is no any difference between being rejected or accepted without financial aid for me.

Luckily I have been offered a fellowship from OSU. Although I have strong academic records, I really don't know how I get it. Because this kind of awards are very competitive. In fact, I want to go to CMU or Gatech, but no luck I couldn't find any assistantship yet. I will try to find a way to get in those schools until 15th April and if I could manage it , I will not accept the fellowship offer. I am really sorry, I wish I could reject the fellowship offer earlier.

That is very kind, but I guess that if anyone was being considered/ nominated for fellowship, OSU would have let him know beforehand. So one way or the other, if I haven't heard anything so far (and I haven't), I believe I'm out of running.
