threefourone Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Hello, I am currently an undergrad and I'm applying for fall 2014 PhD programs in Virology. For the past year and a half I have been working on a research project in a lab-- I've generated a lot of data and am in the process of writing a paper for publication, but it likely won't be ready for submission by the time my grad school applications are in. Should I mention on my CV that I have a publication in preparation, or should I leave it to my letter writers to mention this? Thanks for your suggestions
fuzzylogician Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Yes, you can mention it on your CV and also in your SOP, since I assume what you're writing about is relevant for your grad school apps -- but definitely have your LOR writers discuss it.
