threefourone
Hello, I am currently an undergrad and I'm applying for fall 2014 PhD programs in Virology. For the past year and a half I have been working on a research project in a lab-- I've generated a lot of data and am in the process of writing a paper for publication, but it likely won't be ready for submission by the time my grad school applications are in. Should I mention on my CV that I have a publication in preparation, or should I leave it to my letter writers to mention this? Thanks for your suggestions
fuzzylogician
Yes, you can mention it on your CV and also in your SOP, since I assume what you're writing about is relevant for your grad school apps -- but definitely have your LOR writers discuss it.
