obviousbicycle Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) Anyone? I've taken all 5 and my verbal did not even hit the 150 mark which is odd because I did fairly well in other tests (Manhattan, Powerprep, Magoosh) i.e. >153. I am freaking out because I'm taking my GRE this Saturday! For those who have used it - especially those who are struggling with verbal - do you think their verbal questions are relatively harder? Surprisingly I didn't find them ridiculously hard, that's why I was confounded when I saw my scores. Edited October 2, 2013 by obviousbicycle
spiny22 Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I don't think Kaplan verbal questions themselves are harder, but I think they are scored unfairly. I scored fairly well (around 158) but that was still lower than I scored on other practice tests. I've heard Kaplan verbal is not very predictive, so I wouldn't be too worried about it, especially if your PowerPrep and Manhattan scores are good. So don't freak out.

This is exactly my take on Kaplan and it is all that I needed to hear from someone who has used it. Edited October 3, 2013 by obviousbicycle
