blubb Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Hey there, does anybody know how I find papers in Google Scholar that include several keywords and filter those, that include ALL keywords? For example if I type "Apples Rabbit Food" then the result list should Show only the papers that include all three words. Thanks
pears Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 i'm not sure if this will help, but you may want to familiarize yourself with boolean searching vocab (click for link). i'm fairly certain the "AND" function is automatic in google, i.e., it'll yield only results containing all of the terms, as if you had added "AND" between each. apples rabbit food = apples AND rabbit AND food.
Arrowfletch Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 There's also a search tips section on scholar that might be helpful :http://www.google.com/intl/en/scholar/help.html. In general, I would try what pears mentioned, or try putting quotes around the terms to return only exact matches, though sometimes that's too restrictive. Alternatively, there is a drop down menu on scholar on the results page (shows as a downward facing arrow in the upper left until expanded) that can get you to advanced search: the advanced search has categories to limit articles to ones containing every term put in, exact phrases, without certain words, etc.
