spacepope13 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 My plan is to go to pursue a PhD in biomedical engineering. I took the GRE a few weeks ago and got a 163Q 159V and 4.0AW. I'm kind of worried about these scores, as I think my quantitative is a bit low for what top universities want. As for other stats, I go to Georgia Tech for biomedical engineering as an undergraduate and have a 3.58 GPA. I've worked in a lab here since August 2012 and have also done an REU at my hometown's school as well as one at Harvard University. Before working in my current lab, I've also worked in a biomaterials lab at Georgia Tech, but for only one semester. I've also worked as a lab tech at my local medical school. Even though I have a lot of research experience, I don't have any publications. I'm planning on retaking the GRE soon so that I can be a little more competitive, but even then, would I be competitive towards top BME programs?
