Elle07
hi, i just realized that there is a difference between the Canadian and American GPA scales. does this mean i won't be able to get into an American school if my cumulative GPA is 3.5 (80%ish), and my sessional GPA is 4.0(85%+)? i've been looking around and a lot of big name schools are saying that you need a 3.3. i assumed this meant a 75%, but its actually the mid-80s. what do you think? thank you, Elle
babubot
At many schools, GPA minimums do not apply to international students because they know that grading scales are different. Your best bet is to email the schools you are interested in. Edited October 28, 2013 by babubot
