Sociology MA vs undergrad

So I got my undergraduate degree in Sociology from a no-name liberal arts school and finished with a 3.2 (my major GPA was closer to a 3.5). I've been out of school for two years now and have worked in a field unrelated to my major. I have no research experience and my research interests are way too broad and too great in number to even bring up here.

 

In short, I think I want to continue studying Sociology but I'm not entirely certain. I would totally go for a masters if I was accepted into a decent program that would prepare me for the possibility of getting a Ph.D. later on.

 

So here are my questions:

 

1) Does it make sense to get a terminal masters in sociology or would it be more advantageous to take more courses at the undergraduate level to boost my ugrad GPA, gets LORs, and save time/money?

 

2) Assuming that I did well on the GRE, would I even have a shot at a decent (mid-tier) masters program in sociology?

 

3) I've looked into this a little, but it doesn't seem that there are many schools that offer terminal masters degrees in sociology. Is there a list compiled somewhere?
