yeasir Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 My undergrad supervisor is has gone abroad and is really hard to get him free any time soon assuming he is the busiest person alive.(!) I am planning to take recommendations from my current employer( Technical Director) and two of my undergrad professors who taught me as undergrad student. I am not sure if this would harm my chances as I am not getting recommendation from my undergrad research supervisor. Thanks in advance.
Loric Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I'm pretty sure they can't tell who your supervisor is. It's also entirely possible to have a better personal relationship with people who aren't your direct superior. I think it'll be fine. If it's not, then what? Is hunting your sup down and then trying to get the rec going to be worth it? I don't think it'd make that big of a difference, if at all.
