spaige Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Hi, I have taken the gre and my scores are 155V (66%), 159Q (75%) and 4.5 AWA (78%). I am trying to get into clinical psychology in canada. I have volunteered (and been paid) as a research assistant for 2 years now. At the moment I am in three different psych labs (social, I/O, and clinical). I have a overall 3.7 gpa, but my psych average is 3.9 (out of 4). All my stats and research courses are in the 90s. I have been told I am going to receive amazing letters of reference and I am trying to make sure I only apply to those schools who have the same interests in me (no use in wasting everyone's time and money). Lastly, I am just finishing up my honours thesis Should I retake the gre to increase my verbal score. I know a 155 is not low, but it is only in the 66%. Each school seems to vary but the average acceptance is most often 159. Will my 155 hurt my chances of getting in?
Lisa44201 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 I wouldn't. The rest of your stats are fine; provided your SOP is strong, you should be good. spaige 1
