selwynjacob90
Hello, I'm planning to apply for masters in CS. I gave my GRE the other day and got 313 (159 on quant and 153 on verbal), I have two years work experience (Oracle and FusionCharts), GPA is 7.7 on 10. I've got strong recommendation letters. I'm looking for some sort of assistantship. I did my homework and selected some schools but I'm looking for advice from you guys who know better, can you suggest any other schools where I'm likely to get some funding? Universities I've short listed are, 1) University of Utah 2) University of Florida 3) University of Arizona 4) University of Wisconcin, Madison I would really be glad to receive some advice. Thanks, Selwyn
DSA
I did my undergrad in CS at the University of Utah, and I'm applying there for grad school to hopefully enter next fall. However, I'm applying as a PhD partially because I've heard from current grad students there that getting master's funding is quite difficult. If you're looking for funding as an MS student, I've heard that Canadian universities are more likely to offer funding for them than US universities.
