C_Chattra
I just took the test today. I know my verbal is quite disappointing; I've been getting around 150 on my practice test so I don't know what happened there. Do you guys think these scores are enough for a masters in Ed program? iphi
It is very low. How did you do in English in school? How did you do on AW (you probably don't know yet)? Is this something you can "explain"? If not you should re-take. HOWEVER, there are lots of Master's programs in Ed that do not require GREs. In fact, the majority that I have seen do NOT require GREs! Try for one of those.
C_Chattra
Thanks for your input. English isn't my native language so the verbal section has always been a challenge for me. I might consider retaking it. Do others have thoughts on this?
iphi
Well how is your TOEFL score then? If it's good that should help... Really the key to the verbal section is VOCAB.
C_Chattra
I did my undergrad in the US (top 15) so I don't need to submit TOEFL. That's actually a good idea... I will ask the admission to see if TOEFL can help replace GRE verbal
ctcpx084
If you're aiming at a top tier school, you should retake the GRE to be as competitive as possible.
