jchart214
I'd like to pursue a M.S. in geoscience. My undergrad was a B.S. in geoscience but my GPA was low due to personal issues throughout college. I did well on the GRE. I have been out for a year though, and I feel so lost in the process of finding and contacting schools that I'm interested in. I'm looking for any advice on how to find a school that would be a good fit. I'm looking for more professional based programs that would be beneficial in finding work right out of school. Thanks for the help.
glinker
Putting aside your grades in undergrad and your idea of where you could get in, a good place to start thinking about iswhere would you like to live for the next couple of years? What kind of job do you eventually want to do?
geographyrocks
I think the biggest question is what facet of geoscience do you want to pursue? Once you have narrowed that down, it should be easier to find schools that match your interests. propensity
