writing sample topics

it's understood that the .WS is the most important part of the application, but it is the most under addressed topic in the forum. I can't understand why there isn't more curiosity centered around such a significant aspect of the application.

why don't we share? just a topic and/or title might be sufficient -- and if yore really proud an abstract or introduction would be interesting.

we could collect them here for other students , that we might have a better, collective understanding of each other, and the standards we set for competition.

I suspect it is because many of us are hesitant to reveal identifying information, and there's not too much we can say about our writing samples without it being potentially identifying.
