sculpture at yale

curious to here from anybody else who has applied to yale for sculpture.  yale is my number 1 and i am now anxiously waiting for some info back.  i feel my work was pretty strong but poorly documented.  how much of a difference you think this will make?  Also, my statement was only a couple sentences.

I forgot to ask too - how important is the prestige of your undergraduate institution?  does it factor in at all if youve gone to a top notch school or a second rate school when your portfolio is very good?  would it help to have studied math at MIT?

addly., not sure if 666 is 4 serious, or if this is some existential panic re. a few sentences as an artist statement ('cos, this is the internet) but would be curious as to: when Yale starts giving word of interview

(it would help me immensely in planning early spring for me,

i'm at a residency until March 9 and will have to fly around if i'm lucky).

Every application I filled out asked which institute I studied math at. I wish I had had such a prestigious response as yours.

Have been invited for interview at yale since the 1st of feb, i got notified. Am curious to find out about yale sculpture, anyone with first hand info? Does any one know, if yale has funding for international students?
