Late Application

Hi everyone. I have a question about late applications. 

 

The other day I was going through my grad school applications when I noticed that one read "saved" in the status rather than "submitted". It turned out that after I had made the payment there was one more window I was supposed to go to in order to hit the final submit button. I submitted the application as soon as I noticed, but now it is 14 days late. I sent the department an email, hoping that maybe they will consider me since (I assume) there should be records showing that all materials were uploaded months before the deadline. However, I am not sure what to expect. How likely is it that an application will be considered under these circumstances? Or am I probably just best off hoping for one of the other four schools I applied to?
