Hi guys, S

So I applied to USC on the deadline, Dec 01, 2014 and I've not heard nothing from them including the supposed mail informing me of my USC ID.

Worse still, their website refuses to load up on my system (been trying for a month or so now). Anyone in this same fix?

I have flushed my dns, changed dns and still won't work. Annoying thing is the site loads on my phone but I can hardly do anything on my phone.

Any useful tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

So you deleted your cookies for that browser? Did you try different browsers? I ask because NCSU has the same application set-up as USC and it views best in Chrome or Firefox and some other upgraded browsers. There is a "system requirements" at the bottom that might give you more info...

Yes, cookies were deleted for my browser, Chrome. Tried Internet explorer and still same old, same old. How do you work around issues like this when you encounter them?

So all of these items were met:

Supported browsers include Internet Explorer 8 & 9 (Windows), Firefox 3.6 & 7 (Mac), Firefox 3 and 7 (Windows), Chrome 12 (Windows and Mac), Safari 4 & 5 (Mac), (Macintosh users - OS X).

While the majority of features will work with other browsers, we can only guarantee full compatibility and offer support for the browsers mentioned above.

If you are using Internet Explorer 6, we strongly recommend upgrading to version 9 as version 6 does not meet our minimum security requirements.

If you are using Compatibility View with Internet Explorer, some pages may not look as intended. We recommend removing applyourself.com from your list of sites that have Compatibility View enabled.

For IE8:

  • In Internet Explorer, open the Tools menu at the top and select Compatibility View Settings.
  • Select applyyourself.com under "Websites you've added to Compatibility View."
  • Click Remove.

And it still does not work? If that is the case, I would contact their technical support https://app.applyyourself.com/AYApplicantLogin/fl_ApplicantLogin.asp?id=usc-grad

When an application did this to me, I downloaded a different browser per their stipulations and then it worked. I also had to clear cookies once and then that worked as well.  Hope this helps!
