js3 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Hi all, I submitted my applications in early-mid December to a number of Synthetic Biology PhD programs, but just had a paper submitted this week as a contributing author. I feel a little dumb contacting admissions departments with an updated CV for a paper that is pending, but I have a low GPA (2.95) and this is my first paper. I've only previously presented posters and done two presentations at conferences. I can't help but feel that every little bit helps. Do you think it's worth it to submit an updated CV or should I wait until I know if the paper is being accepted? Thanks!
Canis Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Don't submit an updated CV. Email your POIs and copy the graduate admissions contact in the department to let them know your update. TakeruK 1
