I had two deadlines on 1/15 and he agreed with me about a month and a half ago. Is there anyone in similar situation? and why do they need exactly 3? not 2 or 4 ? Really frustrated. anum chandani Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Hi, okay so MIT had emailed me asking for my recommendation letters as all of them were late, now my teachers sent them in although they were all pretty late but I just wanted to ask that does that mean that other parts of my application were fine enough for them to consider me? I got a rejection from MIT fews days back so im just curious could it be because of my recommendation letters if so I can probably change my referees for the schools who have not yet reviewed my application .
