priyankatiwari Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Hi, I have an undergraduate degree in Instrumentation and Controls engg. from India. My GRE score is 169(Verbal), 170(Quant) and 4.5(Writing). TOEFL score is 117/120. I have 8 years of experience in the IT industry, with the last 2 years at a R&D lab. Have applied for a Computer science major at UNC, Chapel Hill, NCSU, Rutgers, Stony Brook NY, CMU, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Georgia Tech. Am extremely 'iffy' because of the undegrad in a 'non-CS' field...Will the work ex make up for it??? Any pointers highly appreciated!!!
iExcelAtMicrosoftPuns Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I can't say for sure - but things look good. Speak to your passion for CS in your SOP. I hope you get everything you want. priyankatiwari 1
thegirldetective Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Yeah I think you'll be fine, as long as you have a good SOP. priyankatiwari 1
