Has anyone received any notification from Johns Hopkins?

I applied for the PhD in history program, but haven't heard anything. Subsequent calls to the department have been fruitless -- it doesn't seem like anyone answers the phones there. I've left voicemail messages for various people, but I'm having a hard time getting a response, even from the graduate school admissions office. This is pretty frustrating -- I've already accepted another school's offer, and I'm assuming that by now I've been rejected from JHU, but I'd like to know my status (since I did submit the application and pay the fee).

Anyone else?
