calgoldenbear Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Hi all, I received a phone call from USC earlier today, letting me know that they already have a decision for me but can't release it until they have my official transcripts. I've already sent all my official documents, so she said that the one they're missing must have gotten lost somewhere along the way. Considering the levels of anticipation for admissions are VERY high now, I'm wondering if this is a good sign. In my mind, if they decided not to accept me, I'm thinking, "Why would they want my official transcript if they're just going to reject me?" I'm frantic with all of these "what if" scenarios swarming through my mind. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what this could mean? Edited February 7, 2014 by calgoldenbear
starofdawn Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 There's even some schools that don't require official transcripts until someone's been admitted. I can't see why they would ask for official transcripts if they're going to reject you, unless the information on your official transcripts doesn't match the information on your application. Just my opinion.
calgoldenbear Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Thanks for your input! I sent them unofficial transcripts (as in, scanned versions), so all of that information is accurate. This is making the waiting game even harder!
leijerry888 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I think the decision will be a positive one
