Prereq Help ASAP

I'm applying for 2 MSW programs, and since I graduated with a Bachelors in English and not social work, they require two courses I have to take before admission. I found one online that starts Monday, but I don't know if I should pay the price of the class and book, or if I should wait until I know if I got in? The application said students can take the classes WHILE applying, but if I wait and just do it before I attend in the fall, do you think that would be ok too? I don't want to drop $1000 and then not get in. HELP

Are you a Fulbright student?

Honestly, I would get in touch with the school.

However, based on my understanding of the 22 or so programs I looked into, it seems the more common route would be to take the courses after you have been admitted.  In some cases, you would be admitted on a provisional basis with the understanding that you were not "fully" in the program until those two courses were met.

Then again, these were all biology-related programs.
