Xero735
So I recently was accepted into North Carolina State University, one of my top picks. However, they don't have funds for me this year and I would have to impress them and get them next year. In the mean time, I would have to get jobs on campus. Anyone have any advice about how to start looking?
rufzilla
I would check your school's website and see if they have a section on student employment. At my UG school they had a whole site dedicated to student employment, job ads, etc. That should show you what is available, how much the jobs pay, and all the other details. mkmason
Here's a link for some on campus opportunities at your university. http://www.ncsu.edu/career/students/jobsinternships/campusjobs.php They also have a math center http://www.ncsu.edu/tutorial_center/. If NC state is like any other university they'll be begging you to come tutor math for them. You might also be able to tutor for local high school and middle school students. Math tutors are in high demand.
