UsernameWasTaken Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I was wondering how to go about preparing for the MATH Gre Subject Test? After some research online, I found that the best way to prepare is to go through textbooks, not GRE Review books (i.e. Cracking the GRE Math Subject Test by Princeton Review). Is that true? What textbooks do you suggest I go through for the following subjects? I've put in parentheses the books I've used so far. 1) Calculus/Differential Equations (Stewart, Apostol) 2) Linear Algebra (Axler, Strang) 3) Abstract Algebra (Gallian) 4) Complex Analysis (Stein) 5) Real Analysis/Topology (Bartle, Munkres) 6) Discrete Mathematics Thanks!
