hey.

i have got admits from the following universities

USC (MS CS) (Networks)

NCSU (MS CS-CN networks)

UFL (MS ECE ) - 12K aid

Virginia Tech (recommended for Meng , not confirmed yet).

Amongst these which would be the best place considering the cost, quality of education and the job prospects?. I know that USC and NCSU have a great program for networks, but then the aid scene is not good in both these unis.

Some seniors told me that vtech has a good program for wireless networks. i was planning to join there if they confirm my admit. I dont have any idea about UFL though. but the 12K aid makes it a very attractive option.

which would be the best option for me? please advise

thanks :)

The 12k aid from uf (and i'm guessing it is the so called achievement award) doesn't really mean that much. If you have more than 1200 or 1250 in gre then you have 'achieved' it. See where you have a better research fit and from what I'm told ufl cise has good research output. If your primary objective is jobs, then perhaps uf is not your best bet. Congrats on the admits and best of luck.
