Hey Everyone :)

Have you applied to the University of Denver MSW program? and if so... Have you been accepted?

And.....

Are any of you current students at UD in the MSW program....? Do you have any advice for those accepted or those who anticipate acceptance?

Thanks!

Peace & Happiness to ALL!

Hi, Daisy!
I completed my application January 9 and was informed via the website (accept/decline buttons at the bottom) that I was accepted last Wednesday, Feb. 12, so it took them about 5 weeks. I still haven't received my official letter and scholarship info, but I'm anticipating receiving that tomorrow. When did you submit? Hope this helps! :)

That does help, and congratulations! I submitted my materials January 10th, but my application wasn't complete until February 7th after my last recommendation letter was submitted. They told me it would take 4-6 weeks. I'm just a little anxious because UD is the only school I am really interested in going to. Hopefully I will here back with an "accepted" letter soon. What program did you apply for?  I applied for the Children & Youth Risks and Healthy Development... and I also want to get the certificate in animal assisted social work.

I submitted my materials Jan 10th, and called about a financial aid question and they let me know I was accepted! I also had the (accept/decline) buttons on the bottom of my application!! Good luck!!!

I completed my application January 7 and found out from the accept/decline buttons that I was accepted February 3 and got the letter in the mail the next day, good luck!

I applied in mid-November, and was notified via regular mail in mid-January that I had been accepted. In that letter, they told me that I was awarded a scholarship and how much it was worth.

Hope that helps.

Check your application status page online! When I was admitted, it still said that my decision was incomplete, but there were accept/decline buttons at the bottom of the page. Also, if you call, they'll be glad to give you all of the info they have. They were very accommodating!

I applied to the health/mental health concentration. I was told I received a $26,000 scholarship, but I'm still waiting to hear on other decisions. What are you guys' thoughts on the pricetag vs. the value of going to school there? Have you received other need-based scholarships? DU is my first choice, but I'm looking for a way to make it plausible financially. I would really appreciate some input!
