Who are the superstars at Emory?

Does anyone have any sense of who the top faculty is at Emory? I'm wondering about reputation in their subfield, publication record, and ability to place students they advise in good positions upon graduation. Thanks.

I like E. Reinhardt's work in IPE (maybe he's not a superstar though...). Recently he seems to be everywhere with co-authored papers, and I heard he just placed one of his students at Michigan.

Walker and Giles have great reputations. Because of them, Emory is very reliable in placing their students in judicial politics. What subfield are you looking at cal?

Carrubba's record the past 3 years is probably as good as it's going to get as well. It's a really sharp department in general.

Dr. Remington is very prominent in Russian politics and institutions, my own area of interest. Sadly I just got the news today that there was no room for me to move off of Emory's waitlist.

I graduated from Emory (undergrad) in 2007. Both Walker and Giles are superstars. Moreover, they are wonderful people and very accessible to their students. The Poli Sci Department is very supportive of their students. Professors Klehr, Strahan, and Reingold are also wonderful.
