teacherplease Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 After going through waves of worry and calmness, I think my programs are calling within the next few days to let me know my fate... dun, dun, dun. Not that this makes any difference whatsoever, I was just wondering what time admissions peoples usually call to let you know if you're in. Is it just anytime during the day, do they call more in the morning/evening?... any input would be terrific! Knowing might calm my excitment a bit ("oh man, I'm finally finding out!!") and I might be able to go about my day in a more reasonable fashion.
the_sheath Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I previously assumed 9-5 in the timezone where the school is. Then I got an E-mail last night from the graduate division of a school, at around 9pm. But normally my stuff came in at around noon from whatever timezone the E-mail came from.
peachypie Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Most correspondences i have received have been in mid-afternoon to later in the day except for a phone call for my interview invite which was at the beginning of the day. all my acceptances have been afternoon contact. best of luck, it is better not to think about it if you can keep distracted throughout the day that is best.
