coffee686
Hello. I am a current teacher (TFA) and am going to be applying to MPP programs in the next couple of months (to begin in Fall of 2010). I have an interest in domestic policy, specifically education policy. Which schools are the best for studying this? Also, how much do GRE scores matter for top schools? I haven't taken them yet, but I've heard from former applicants that they do not matter so much.
zourah
I'm not an education policy person, but as someone with ties to the school, I know that the Washington University in St. Louis has a great program for this. I'd give them a look!
Dreams
Are you also looking at schools of Education such as Teacher's College? Some public policy schools with a Domestic and Education Policy I know of are University of Georgia, Carnegie Mellon, and Princeton.
coffee686
Thanks for the advice. I'm looking to get an MPP but with a concentration in education or social policy. I also hope to get a job in the DC working for the federal gov't.
