astroyogi Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 (edited) I'm considering a few different schools at the moment and am wondering if anyone has anything to say about the department culture at Caltech. Friendly, competitive, workaholic...? Of course visiting later next month will help clarify this for me but I'm interested to see what anyone here has to say. Thank you! Edit: Should I have posted this in "Decisions, decisions?" I don't know how many physics people are active on this forum. Edited February 24, 2014 by astroyogi
MikeTC Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) I recently saw a Blog entry about the differences in culture of Caltech and Stanford. I'll see if i can find it again, it was quite amusing ;-) EDIT: Well not really a blog entry, but still amusing ... http://www.quora.com/What-do-California-Institute-of-Technology-students-alumni-think-of-Stanford-students-alumni Edited February 25, 2014 by MikeTC turbidite 1
