Anyone else STILL waiting to hear from USC?

I had applied for the PhD program in bioinformatics at USC for fall 2009 and that's the only school I am waiting on now. I would like to know if anyone else is still waiting on this one- I had mailed them and they said that I would hear from them "no later than April 15th"- does that mean a reject?

still waiting but no more hopes. here is a copy/paste from results:

Spoke to the CS admissions incharge. Said committee will only consider if some professor says he is interested. Apparently noone has vouched for me yet. No reject but that is not necessarily a good sign as I have yet to hear a positive response from any professor.

I haven't heard a word back yet. They didn't respond to my email, either. I wonder if the April 15th deadline applies to the CS department as well?

did you try calling the department? that helps sometimes.
