I was wondering if I signed up for Health care insurance, via the Affordable Care Act, if that coverage would be accepted and considered equivalent to a private insurance provider? I ask because I was enrolled in a subsidized health care program in Massachusetts, which was considered not to meet the "minimum standards" for UMass Boston. If somebody knows the answer please let me know! I rather save a few hundred bucks especially starting this humongous financial journey.
EYD187 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Not sure, but I know being a full time student excludes you from MassHealth. I would contact the school to find out for sure what is acceptable and what is not.
