NYU Steinhardt M.A. Higher Education and Student Affairs

Has anyone heard back from NYU's M.A. program for Higher Education and Student Affairs? There is one post in the results page, but no one else has posted anything so I'm not sure if I should believe it or not. I have't heard from NYU since I submitted my application and I'm starting to freak out a little bit. Is anyone else in the same boat as me? Or has anyone else heard back from them already?

I applied to another MA program at Steinhardt, and after submitting my application in December, they contacted me last week to say that they never received one of my transcripts and that I should send it in the mail ASAP. Other than that, nope, haven't heard anything. Everything seems a little disorganized.

I am not sure if this applied here, but they did start sending out decision notifications last week. I think it may depend on what program you applied to. I applied for the Education Leadership Politics and Advocay MA program in early February and I got an acceptance letter last Wednesday.

That makes sense! I actually got a "Check Application Status" e-mail when I learned about them missing my transcript. Guess I just made my wait longer . I also noticed we applied to four of the same schools (no AU for me), so just wanted to say good luck to you as you await the other decisions.

Thanks @meghangg! It seems like NYU has sent out notifications for other programs, but maybe not for Student Affairs? Hopefully that's what is going on. I'll let you know if/when I heard anything

I have attended visits for MSU and Rutgers and candidates who applied for NYU's program also mentioned the lack of consistent communication. It's not just yall,

 

One said they hadnt heard a decision at all, not even a rejection, and the visit is next week.

I've applied to NYU Steinhardt for there Educational Theatre (M.A) program and was contacted about two weeks ago for missing a transcript. I had it sent within three days and haven't heard anything as of yet. I'll be a transferring student from the West Coast! Keeping my fingers crossed! :-)

I applied to the Higher Ed & Student Affairs program at NYU and received an email invitation to the Recruitment days on February 11th.
