Xyz_123 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I am interested in doing Masters in structural engineering. I am currently in my last sem i.e. 8th sem. My GPA - 8.51(till 7th sem) TOEFL - 99. I am going to write my GRE by June. I just received an offer for MS in structures from Politecnico Di Milano Italy. I checked QS world ranking, its been ranked 18th for structures. But one of my friends is advising me to write GRE and go for USA. The only problem is by writing GRE nw I might be able to secure admission in FALL 2015. i ll be losing a year + i ll be losing politecnico + i have already secured a job which i have to give up. Kindly help me Thank You!!! Cookie 1

I would advise asking the International community in IHOG why they are applying to US graduate schools. They might have a better perspective. The only advice I can give - if you want to receive a respectable GRE score, your writing skills will need to improve.
