ll235 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 A potential supervisor for a master's degree sent me an email telling me I was accepted and he gave me the funding details in the email. However, this is my first acceptance and I am still waiting for the decisions of better universities. So I don't really know what to do, I feel I have to reply because the email was personal but at the same time, how can I send an email without accepting or rejecting the offer? Thank you for your help
iphi Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Just say "thank you for the offer, I am excited about the opportunity. I am still waiting to hear back from a few places but I will let you know when I have made my final decision."
CulturalAnth Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Yes, I pretty much wrote what iphi said when I received the same. I think it is expected - they know you've applied several places.
