hj2012 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 There's always a chance, so I'd just wait it out. However, if you don't get the results you want this round and want to think of reapplying, the GRE is a highly learnable test. Boosting your score a few points will definitely help you.
microarray Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I did horrible on GRE (150V, 145 Q, 2A). I really don't test well (especially standardized tests) and need lots of time to write well. I got in to a wonderful school with these scores, so it's not impossible. However the rest of my application was really strong and I'm sure that helped make up the difference. I also developed a really good relationship with my future PI during the application process. I don't know if schools have higher expectations of international students or not for GRE. Best of luck.
Anand7864 Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 Thanks for reply . Waiting is only an option left meanwhile I start preparing for GRE again.
Ceruleaan Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I recommend Kaplan. They're expensive as hell, but they do a good online course that will definitely boost the scores.
