notmike Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) I spoke with someone at Goldman who would be in a position to know, and they told me that due to the high yield this year they haven't and probably won't take anyone off the waitlist. They said there's a chance, but its VERY small. Not great news, but maybe it will make you feel better about being passed up to know that nobody got in. Sorry Edited May 12, 2014 by notmike notmike 1
albuhhh Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) notmike, I suspected as much, as I haven't heard anyone being accepted, and it's usually at least a trickle of people. Thanks for confirming, it does help a bit. Might I ask where you'll be in the fall? Edited May 12, 2014 by albuhhh
notmike Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Michigan came through late with a half tuition offer, and I'm pretty strapped for cash. So, as cold as it is, it looks like Michigan is in my future. How about you? Random question, did you go to Hariss' welcome event?
albuhhh Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 I'm going to CMU - good program fit and money. Would have loved (and would still love) to go to GSPP, though. I'm a Cal alum and have lived in the Bay Area for 8 years now. It's going to be tough to leave. I was at the Harris admit weekend. Were you?
