Ohio State vs VT

I have been offered a place for PhD in CS at OSU and VT. What is the general opinion about these two? I am married and have a daughter as well. I would like to know what is a better place to work and live?

OSU is a great area and in big city with lots of job opportunities. Great program as well.

OSU is an AMAZING school. I am biased as I went to undergrad there. But there is always something to do, places to go and things to see (this coming from a person from NYC). If you like action and being around people, it's the place for you.  Also, the city of Columbus is nice. It's an up and coming city with nice suburbs nearby if you want to have your family there.
