Is there a way to know that my status is hanging on the waiting list ?

Hi,

 

My inbox has been empty since I finished my last application which its deadline is on March,1st  but my first is on December, 7th.

 

I begun to worry......   

Do you guy have any alternative ways  to see your status, aside from waiting for the emails.

And, how do I check if my status is actually on the wait list.

For the early ones, like december, I would just call the grad office. The news may not be great, but at least it's news.
