HicklePickle Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I know that this is silly, but I can't figure out how to translate credit hour cost to yearly cost. There are additional fees, right? So if the cost per credit hour is $828, what should I expect to pay per semester? Thanks in advance...
deci:belle Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Look for a suggested schedule for each semester so you know how many credits you are taking, then multiply that by the cost per credit. Then look on the Cost of Attendance section of your schools website to see a list of the fees, and add that to the above. Lastly, add any miscellaneous costs such as books, insurance, room & board etc. So, $828*(12 credits lets just say)= $9936 <-- Tuition Tuition + (Fees) + (Additional Costs) = COST OF ATTENDANCE for the semester.
geographyrocks Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 The school you're attending should have a cost estimator. They should also specify their fees. A lot of universities have mandatory health insurance that runs $1000-$2000 a year.
